[edit] Willing to re-write

i am more than willing to rewrite. And i am going to rewrite... - User:nate1028

Oh come on, you can do better than this!! I haven't read this book since I was 13, but I remember a bit more than just "lots of symbolism!" Limapoint 00:19, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Will re-read

I love this novel, was very disappointed to find the page so badly written, I'm going to read the novel and do a little research online and re-write this page. it can be my little baby!!! AC 21:55, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Missing Info

This goes out to anyone who is going to add to this article.

Shouldn't it be added at the end that Paul was supended from Tangerine Middle? Because that is an important part of the plot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.80.40.127 (talk) 01:42, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Movie

Tangerine has been optioned for a movie by HBO films. The first version of the screen play has been written and a possible director is Catherine Hardwicke known for Thirteen and Lords of Dogtown. It is still extremely early in the planning stages but nearly has the green light.

[edit] Vandalism

the last line says "Erik is a bitch and so is Arthur"!!! This page needs to be reverted and possibly semi-locked. Savagepine 00:41, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

ok, I removed the vandalism, but I still think this page needs to be semi-locked. It is a book often read in middle school language arts classes (in fact I'm reading it right now in my 8th grade class) and could be vandalized by some mischievious researchers. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Savagepine (talk • contribs) 00:47, 25 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Re-write started

I have taken a bit of time to start re-writing the plot summary. However, it is incomplete and fails to deal with large parts of the novel. Any additions to the plot would be appreciated.

[edit] infobox/pic

[edit] What is fiction here?

According to Wikipedia, Tangerine, Florida is a real place, and it is the setting for this novel. But it says that Tangerine County is fictional. Any insights, anyone? Unschool (talk) 15:54, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, Tangerine is in Orange County, which is a similar citrus fruit. Surely the properties of the town are somewhat fictional; I never heard of lignite in Florida. --Reuben (talk) 17:00, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
