Tamzin Challenger

Tamzin Challenger(born 29 October 1989) is a British Bassline/R&B singer, songwriter and a budding producer. She grew up near Loughborough, Leicestershire in a musical household. Her Father Romeo Challenger is the original Drummer of Showaddywaddy and her older Brother is Olympic Benjamin Challenger. She is Half Caribbean (of Antiguan & Barbudan Origins) and Half Caucasian.
Tamzin found her ground with the sounds of Neo Soul/Nu Jazz productions by J.Rawls in 2006. She unofficially vocalled track "Still Taking it Ez" from J.Rawls The Liquid Crystal Project Album which got the ohio producer's attention.J.Rawls contributed a beat to her to vocal.The track is known as "Amore Forte".Tamzin was given her first performance by German soul singer, Natalie Williams in 2006 at Londons Soho club Too 2 Much.
Early 2007, Tamzin found herself contributing to the Bassline scene with Leeds Producer T2 on collaborations "Wot Can I Do", "Over You" & "My Baby's Song".
1xtra has contributed to Tamzin's music profile.Mistajam,Dj Q and Dj Cameo all have playlisted her songs. Dj Cameo is Quoted to saying on air: "Another brand new vocalist, this time from Leicester. Trust me this girl is so, so talented at singing and songwriting. She's absolutely moving in the game and this year is going to be big for her. Seriously talented you know! She is so, so big in the game- watch out for her new material as well. Some big bits coming from Tamzin!".
Recently she has been featured in urban publications including RWD and So Grimey. She is currently working on new material.
