Tampines Primary School is a school in Tampines, Singapore.
Tampines Primary School was established in 1985 and functioned then at Yumin Primary School at Tampines Street 21. It moved to its present location on 2 January 1986, and was officially declared open by Mr Phua Bah Lee, Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Defence) and Member of Parliament for Tampines on 30 March 1988.
The school had when it started, an initial teaching staff of 42 and a pupil enrolment of 1152 in 29 classes. Presently, it has a population of 1451 pupils in 41 classes with 59 teaching staff and 10 executive and administrative staff.

The stylised typeface T and P stands for Tampines Primary School. It also signifies a child graduating from our school with an education towards the future incorporating IT.
The colours white, blue and red give a vivid identity of the school. The white background depicts the child's purity of mind. Blue depicts the hallmark of excellence where the sky is the limit. Red represents the vibrancy of our school programmes.
The 2 lines represent the foundation steps towards achieving the desired outcomes of education and a bright future.
The round shape represents a holistic education for our pupils with the total involvement of the school and the community.
