Tamkeen is a center that is established by the government of Dubai to help people with vision impairment problems get hold of the latest advances in the IT field and acquire other skills that they need for the labour market. The centre was opened in March 2004. The number of graduates from the centre has grown to 24 in 2005. The centre will then find those graduates appropriate jobs. Only one graduate has worked in DIfc.
