The Tamil Wikipedia (தமிழ் விக்கிபீடியா) is the Tamil language version of Wikipedia, run by the Wikimedia Foundation. It was established in September 2003; as of October 8, 2007, it has 11,767 articles, making it the 65th largest Wikipedia by article count. It is also the second Wikipedia of Dravidian origin to possess more than 10,000 articles (the first being the Telugu edition).
