Tamers of Nonhuman Threats

Tamers of Nonhuman Threats (TNT for short) is a continuing storyline in Walt Disney's Donald Duck comic books.

The storyline began when Fethry Duck accidentally got enlisted in a secret government organisation whose purpose is to find and counter paranormal threats to humanity before the public finds out about them and panics. Because of Fethry's eagerness to tell his cousin Donald everything, Donald learned of the organisation and was enlisted too.

Characters in the storyline include:

• The Head: A large man who leads the organisation with an effective leadership style.
• Kolik: A rough and tough female agent who is the second-in-command. She believes in direct action, and Donald and Fethry often get on her nerves.
• Snort: A small, blue alien with a long snout. He is the organisation's tactical manager and also participates in training new agents. He speaks only in a strange grunting language which only a couple of other characters understand.
• Jackson and Finch: Two experienced agents who enlisted Donald and Fethry and later seem somewhat jealous of them.
• Boysenberry: A female mechanic.

Enemies Donald and Fethry have faced on their TNT missions include a strange blue jelly-like organism that grew everywhere, a shapeshifting alien pirate, a horde of ghost rats, and a kingdom of demons who were about to break loose of their underground habitat.

The TNT pays their agents well for each mission but demands total secrecy of the organisation.

The TNT series was created for Egmont Creative A/S (Denmark), and Egmont's European affiliate publishers have generally published the full TNT series in local editions. Non-Egmont European publishers have thus far generally published most, but not all, of the stories. North America's Gemstone Publishing has published the first five.
