Tamboril, Dominican Republic

Tamboril is a municipality (municipio) of the Santiago province in the Dominican Republic.[1]

As of the 2002 census the municipality had 49,810 inhabitants, 21,939 living in the city itself and 27,871 in its rural districts (Secciones). [2] For comparison with other municipalities and municipal districts see the list of municipalities and municipal districts of the Dominican Republic.
