Tamayo Marukawa

Tamayo Marukawa (丸川珠代? born in 19 January 1971 , Kobe, Hyogo) is a Japanese politician and former announcer of TV Asahi, who is served as a member of House of Councillors of Diet (parliament). She is a member of the Democratic Party of Japan.

  • Tamayo is a notable Alumnus of the University of Tokyo.Her political slogan is "I am proud of being a Japanese" ( In original , Nihonjinn de yokatta ) though the meanings are not explained so much.
