Tamayama, Iwate

Tamayama (玉山村; -mura) was a village located in Iwate District, Iwate, Japan. On January 10, 2006 the village of Tamayama merged into the city of Morioka.

As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 13,769 and a density of 34.65 persons per km². The total area is 397.32 km².
