The Vossloh G 2000 BB is the most power locomotive in the range produced by Vossloh Locomotives GmbH Their wheel arrangement is B'B'. you has an achievement reached by up to 2700 KW and depending upon motorizing a maximum speed of up to 140 km/h. Depending upon equipment variant it brings it on a service mass from 84 t to 90 t. It reaches a starting tractive power of 283 kN with 87,3 t. The tank volume amounts to 5000 l.

The first locomotive was built in 2000 and the design is now certified for use in Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark and [[Poland].

There are 5 main variants:

Four G1206 locomotives are leased from Angel Trains Cargo by Euro Cargo Rail (ECR), the European division of English, Welsh and Scottish Railway Ltd (EWS). They are maintained at the EWS depot at Dollands Moor and so are allocated TOPS 'Class 21' for registering their transit over railway lines in the United Kingdom[1], they are the second class of locomotives to use the designation. All four are painted in a maroon livery.
