Talukan training camp

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Talukan training camp is an Afghan training camp where Guantanamo counter-terrorism analysts believe the Taliban trained recruits.[1]

One of the factors favoring the continued detention, prepared by analysts, for Yusef Abdullah Saleh Al Rabiesh's Administrative Review Board, states:[1]

"The detainee received Kalashnikov, PK, and grenade training at a Taliban training camp in Talukan [sic] , Afghanistan."

This allegation is notable because almost all the other allegations that Guantanamo captives attended training camps state that they attended al Qaida training camps. Further, Al Rabiesh, as a Saudi, was very unlikely to have understood Pashtun.
