TallyGenicom (TG) is one of the largest companies in the world focused on supplying printers, printer parts, consumables and service to commercial and industrial users. TG's worldwide headquarters is located in Chantilly, Virginia. The company's European headquarters is in Ulm, Germany.

In Europe the company has operations in London, Paris, Vienna and Milan. Asian operations are located in Singapore and Jiangmen, China. In addition, a global network of resellers and partners cover the remaining territories, including Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Australia.

The company does business as TallyGenicom in the Americas and markets its products there under the TallyGenicom brands worldwide. TallyGenicom's two manufacturing facilities, located in Reynosa Mexico, just 10 miles from their world wide distribution center in McAllen Texas, and Jiangmen City in Guangdong Province in China, both operate under Lean Six Sigma principals.

TallyGenicom manufactures serial dot matrix, line matrix, laser, thermal and mobile printers.

TallyGenicom was formed in on 7 August 2003 when the Tally and GENICOM companies merged. Arsenal Capital Partners is the current majority owner.

Prior to the merger of Tally and Genicom on August 7, 2003, GENICOM LP, was one of leading manufacturers of printers. The company designed and marketed a wide range of high performance laser, serial, and line matrix printers that it offered with a complementary line of consumables, parts, and services.

Tally AG was founded in 1948, focusing on design, development, manufacturing, distribution and servicing of printers for high-volume industrial and business applications. Tally was a key innovator in line matrix and industrial ink jet technologies and had become a player in the color laser market. Headquartered in Ulm, Germany, Tally's American operations had been based in Kent, WA.
