Tall Stories is the 1991 sophomore album by Johnny Hates Jazz. On the eve of the album’s release, Phil Thornalley and Calvin Hayes were involved in a serious car crash that depleted the band’s momentum. Once they recovered, the album was a commercial flop and the band called it quits.
