Talkeetna Mountains

The Talkeetna Mountains (62°2′N, 147°54′W) are a mountain range in Alaska.

The majority of the land is state-owned, and it is home to many large mammal including grizzly/brown bear, black bear, moose, caribou, wolves, wolverine, and Dall sheep. They are part of the Alaskan Ranges. In June 2006 Gabe Agree made an epic traverse of the Talkeetnas.
