Talk To Me is a 2007 film about Washington, D.C. radio personality Ralph "Petey" Greene, an ex-con who became a popular talk show host and community activist, and Dewey Hughes, his friend and manager. The movie spans the time period May 1966 to January 1984, ending with the late Greene's memorial service.
The movie premiered as the opening night film of the 2007 Los Angeles Film Festival, on June 22, 2007. It opened in North America in a limited release on July 13, 2007 and nationwide on August 3, 2007. The film was shot in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.[1]

The film received favorable reviews from critics. On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, 80% of critics gave the film positive reviews, based on 97 reviews.[2] On Metacritic, the film had an average score of 69 out of 100, based on 32 reviews.[3]
The film has been criticized for not being true to the details of his life and career and for inventing incidents and rearranging locations.[4]
