about this device which was accidently activated by the crew (or precisly Dargo), as far as i remember, Aeryn's former Peackeeper lover had it (and maybe more similar devices) installed, to sabotage the project. They were merly ment to have an effect, similar to the one if a Peackeeper (Sabacean) conceivse a child, which has to be "activated" manually, so the pregnancy can evolve.
