Taliban Deputy Director of Intelligence
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The transcripts of several of the Guantanamo captive administrative reviews name individuals who were believed to have served as the Taliban Deputy Director of Intelligence.[1]
[edit] Mohammed Ibrahim
Two of the factors favoring the continued detention of Mohamed Rahim were that he acknowledged working under a man named Mohammed Ibrahim, and that a man named Mohammed Ibrahim was appoointed the Taliban Deputy Director of Intelligence.[1]
Notably, the Guantanamo intelligence analysts who compiled the factors asserted that the appointment was made by a member of al Qaida, not from within the Taliban's own leadership structure.[1]
