Talgarreg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Talgarreg is a small village in Ceredigion, West Wales. Economically it is sustained by farming, though there are also some small quarries in the area. The language of the village is still largely Welsh.

For its small size, it is of great cultural interest, being the residence of poets Gillian Clarke and Donald Evans, as well as the politician Cynog Dafis.

There is also a Primary School in the middle of the Village with about 27 children in it. The school is also twinned with Skol Diwan, Guingamp in Brittany.

Talgarreg is also a Village full of activities and people that have lived there all their lives. Also everyone in this small village likes a good poem made by one of the residents now and again.
