Taleporia tubulosa is a nocturnal moth from the family Psychidae, the bagworm moths. The wingspan of the males ranges from 15 to 19 millimeter. The females do not have wings. The wings of the male are greyish brown and look frayed.
The caterpillars feed on Lichen from the genus Parmelia. The caterpillars live in a protective hull made off grass or bark that is usually attached to a tree.
The flight time ranges May to June.
