Taldom transmitter

Taldom transmitter (Russian: переда́тчик Та́лдом) is a large facility for longwave and shortwave broadcasting near Taldom, Russia. It transmits on the frequency 261 kHz with a power of 2,500 kW and is therefore the most powerful broadcasting station in the world. For longwave transmissions two aerial systems equipped with 275 metre high guyed masts are used. Several masts are arranged in a row and interconnected by ropes at multiple heights. The other consists of a central mast surrounded by five other masts [1].
