Talbingo Dam

Talbingo Dam is the largest dam in the Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, Talbingo Dam is located on the Tumut River in southern New South Wales. It's power station is the largest in the project as well[1]. It is a 162 metre (530 feet) high rockfill structure with an upstream sloping silty clay core.[2] When it was constructed in 1971 it was the highest dam in Australia.[3]
