Talamona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km west of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,623 and an area of 21.2 km².[1]
Talamona borders the following municipalities: Albaredo per San Marco, Ardenno, Dazio, Forcola, Morbegno, Tartano.
