Talai is a town and a nagar panchayat in Bilaspur district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Talai had a population of 2010. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Talai has an average literacy rate of 71%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 68%. In Talai, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
