Tala (Bengali: তালা) is an Upazila of Satkhira District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Tala has a population of 251388. Males constitute are 51.31% of the population, and females 48.69%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 134828. Tala has an average literacy rate of 29.7% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. There are mejor problem in the drinking water.[2]
