[edit] Refs coming
References comming up. --GunnarRene 19:23, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm in the process of adding references now. A Google test yields 14900 hits, and it's not a case of mistaken identity with Takeshi Honda the figure skater (his name is written with different kanji). Most of those hits are credit lists, but I try to focus on links that comment specifically on Honda. --GunnarRene 20:07, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I think there are enough sources now to keep it out of speedy, at least. --GunnarRene 21:42, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Expansion
There are many more credits to be added to the filmography, and there are also video games. --GunnarRene 19:52, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] References
As noted by several published references, sources and resources, the subject is most certainly a highly notable individual, and passes Wikipedia:Notability extremely comfortably; see the Anime News Network entry, the allcinema.net and Hate na Diary entries, for example. The Japanese Wikipedia article is also quite well detailed. ···巌流? · Talk to Ganryuu 23:31, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mechander Robo
I removed this credit as he would have been 9 years old at the time. It's highly unlikely he had anything to do with this show, other than perhaps watching it as a kid. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 03:13, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yet another Takeshi Honda. We have:
- Takeshi Honda (本田 武史) Figure skater born in 1981
- Takeshi Honda (本田 雄) Animator and designer born in 1968
- Takeshi Honda (本田 毅) Guitarist
- Takeshi Honda (本田 毅) Board member of Fuji Writing and Technology (or some such)
- Takeshi Honda (本田 毅) The mysterious animator on Mechander Robo
- Those last three could be the same person, though I doubt it. Stranger things have happened, though. Perhaps we should move this page to Takeshi Honda (animator and designer) or Takeshi Honda (1968) for example? --GunnarRene 08:09, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
