Takeshi Morishita (森下健; July 25, 1932-) is a Japanese physician and an authoritative scholar on cardiological imaging in Japan, an ex-professor at Toho University,school of medicine,Tokyo, a councilor of the University.
Born on Shizuoka, Japan, in 1932. He graduated from Toho University in 1962. After clinical training at Tokyo Senin Hoken Hospital, in 1963 he entered first department of internal medicine, Toho University, and in 1977 took a doctor's degree in medicine. In 1979 promoting to the lecturer and the vice-director of Omori Hospital attached to the university, in 1983 the assistant professor, in 1985 the head of central radiology department at the hospital, and in 1988 the professor. After retirement from the professor in 1998, he served the director of Ofuna Chūō General Hopspital at Kamakura to March 2006. He became director of Nukada Memorial Hospital in Kamakura in June 2006.
