Takeo Nishioka

Takeo Nishioka (西岡 武夫? born February 12, 1936) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Nagasaki, Nagasaki and graduate of Waseda University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1963. He lost his seat in 1983 but was re-elected in 1986. He lost the seat again in 2000 and was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2001.
