Take the Lead (Wanna Ride) is a single by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Wisin & Yandel featuring Fatman Scoop and Melissa Jiménez from the soundtrack of the film Take the Lead. On another version, it features also rapper Drag-On. The song was produced by Swizz Beatz, in which he produced most songs from the soundtrack. Due to its lack of air-play, it didn't reach a position in the Billboard Hot 100. It reached as far as to number 44 on the Hot Latin Tracks chart.[1]
The album soundtrack features the radio edit version, while the film features the alternate version with rapper Drag-On at the end.
