[edit] Music video

The music video premiered on 106 & Park on April 2nd, 2008. The video was taken from Chris Brown's tour footage.

[edit] Song Meaning

"Take You Down" is probably Chris Browns' most risque song to date, as it has extremely strong sexual undertones and lyrics. The song is basically about how he feels a strong sexual attraction to his girlfriend (therefore, he wants to "take her down"). The video is as equally risky, as it features Brown gyrating and humping all over the stage. He is also featured taking his clothes and revealing himself. He also suggests sexual intensity with the types of actions he applies within the routine, suggesting that he wants to pleasure himself and his girlfriend.
