"Take My Breath Away" is the second single from Emma Bunton's debut solo album, A Girl Like Me (2001). Released in the summer of 2001 in the UK, it debuted and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked at number six on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play, becoming her first single to enter a U.S. chart. It sold 81,007 copies in the UK, and was the UK's one hundred fifty-first best-selling single of 2001. The music video, directed by Greg Masuak, was shot in Sardinia, Italy.
