"Take It Away" is a hit single from Paul McCartney's 1982 album Tug of War. The single spent six weeks at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts that summer. Both former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and The Beatles' producer George Martin appear in the music video.
The 12" single contained two songs on the B-side, "I'll Give You a Ring" and "Dress Me Up as a Robber." The 7" single only contained the former.
The single version can also be found on the "History" disc of Paul McCartney's latest compilation, "Wingspan."
