Lou Reed's third live album, this 1978 release was Reed's contribution to the double live album era. It was recorded at the Bottom Line, New York and there is no overdubbing. It is distinguished for featuring several lengthy and humorous monologues from the artist, among them a detailed story of the origin of "Walk on the Wild Side." The illustrations on the cover were by Brent Bailer.
