Hi Tailkinker! What do you think about leaving just a couple phrases about each character in the fables page? so the user does not have to be jumping around unless he wants to know more about the characters. Just a suggestion. Stellatomailing 04:51, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey Tailkinker, I have the same question - where to answer those things? Anyway, I prefer having a couple phrases there, but the rationale is perfect.

PS: I am too hairy to be a Stella - my last name is Stellato. :-)

Stellatomailing 17:17, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

PS: btw, what do you think about creating some pages for the story arcs? a good idea?

[edit] Translation Page for Haley Starshine

You... are a Philistine. I know your type. You think that encyclopedias should have in them only knowledge that is practical and can be used to get a passing grade in something. "Encyclopedia" means general knowledge. It doesn't matter that the knowledge can be found elsewhere, either. Most knowledge in an encyclopedia can be found elsewhere. Moreover, it doesn't matter that there is no context for the translations here; the places in which she speaks her crytograms are linked on the page.

You just don't like fun. You are the worst kind of editor; the kind that would eliminate knowledge based on his own subjective standard, rather than looking at things objectively. Sadly, there are more of you than there are editors of my type, and you squat on the deletion boards. You'll more than likely win this battle, but I will continue to fight for what I believe in, and call you what you are; an obstreperous jerk.--ttogreh 03:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your contribution. I hope you don't mind, but, as this is really relevant to the page in question rather than to myself directly, I've chosen to reply in the discussion page there. --Tailkinker 10:56, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
You know, for someone who accused me of being an "otaku", you sure put a heck of a lot of effort into getting that post deleted. Sounds like someone had a bit too much time on his hands, and I think I can go into some pretty good reasons......

[edit] OK, now I know....

Thank you for explaining your reasons. As I said before, I am still relatively new here, and am still learning my way around. Hopefully, in the future, any article I create will be more acceptable. I appreciate the constructive criticism, and hopefully, next time we discuss something, it will be on better terms. --NeoAC 27 December 2006

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Durkon.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Durkon.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] I know this is silly

Haley's alignment is explicitly stated to be "chaotic good-ish" which is not the same as unspecified. I'm not sure how well any of this meshes with wikipedia's policy regarding fiction. The reason I removed the statement is because, unsourced, it represents a distortion. Impressions and even obvious deductions really do qualify as original research. i kan reed 00:42, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit summary on Order of the Stick

Re-read that cryptogram. It translates as "Chaotic good-ish". You said that there was no "ish" about it. That's incorrect. Just thught I'd point it out. i kan reed 16:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:RoyGreenhilt.gif

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:RoyGreenhilt.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --RedHillian 00:12, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Flycatcher.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Flycatcher.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 13:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
