Tong Yong Pin Yin is used in the passeger train timetable issued by TRA. However, some pages in the TRA web still use Wade-Giles romanization.

  • Tongyong Pinyin is highly controversial and spellings are subject to change with the political winds. TYPY is non-standard and unrecognized outside of Taiwan. I would suggest adding the time-honored Wage-Giles place-names, as most publications outside of DPP control use them. Bubbha 11:26, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
