Taisha (大社町 Taisha-machi?) was a town located in Hikawa District, Shimane, Japan. On March 22, 2005, Taisha merged with several other towns and cities to form the new city of Izumo.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 15,733 and a density of 376.39 persons per km². The total area was 41.80 km².
