Tairadate, Aomori

Tairadate (平舘村 Tairadate-mura?) was a village located in Higashitsugaru District, Aomori, Japan. On March 28, 2005 the town was merged. Kanita is a now a part of the new town, Sotogahama.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 2,315 and a density of 48.04 persons per km². The total area is 48.19 km².
