Taipei International Book Exhibition (a.k.a TIBE, traditional Chinese: 台北國際書展), supervised by Government Information Office, organized by Taipei Book Fair Foundation, is the 5th largest book fair in the world. It was established since December 15, 1987 at National Central Library and focused on copyright trading between international publishers including Taiwan. However, with the expansion of its scale, the TIBE was finally moved to the Taipei World Trade Center at January 13, 1990 as its second holding. Until 1998, it became an annual international book fair in Taiwan and stood up its position on international trading.
