[edit] List of English words used only by Filipinos
C.R. - Bathroom, toilet, mens.
Salvage - Murdered for political purposes or by the unscrupolous police. --Jondel 04:21, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Taglish is not a form or variant of English, as Taglish refers to Tagalog mixed with English words! The variant of English spoken in the Philippines can be properly called Philippine English. I am removing the automatic redirect from Filipino English to Taglish and substituted a disambiguation page to include Philippine English and Taglish. --Ronaldo Guevara 04:22, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I support this. The section on Engalog should be migrated too. --Jondel 04:57, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Deep Tagalog
> "Natapos mo na ba yung araling pambahay mo? Do people really use the word 'araling pambahay'? Does it really have to be mentioned?--Jondel 07:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- We use takdang-aralin, which I think is closer to the word homework. I'll go ahead and change it then. --Sky Harbor 06:27, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Derogatory?
"Taglish is often the result from Filipino's laziness to speak or write."
I am not myself Filipino but this line seems derogatory to me. Perhaps that was not the intention and if it was not it should be said a different way.
