Tagoo - Russian mp3 search engine, created by Russian company - Tagoo. Designed by Sergey Smagin (russian=Сергей Смагин) and his helper Ruslan Murashko (russian=Руслан Мурашко).

Tagoo offers both English and Russian interfaces. It allows you to search mp3 tracks through the Internet for free. Tagoo does not host any of found soundtracks, it only provides user with direct links to sounstracks which are situated on other servers, not connected with Tagoo. Recently, Tagoo launched new feature, which offers user the ability to create own playlists on Tagoo site. Since March 13, 2008 Tagoo started to promote newly created artists by publishing their tracks on their site. Every user can evaluate artist or even advise something.

As Sergey Smagin claims in his interview (in Russian) there are a number of advantages of using Tagoo. They are:

  • Very fast search process. Only by two mouse clicks user can easily find required soundtrack.
  • User can face less advertisements on Tagoo site.
  • Tagoo can find not only soundtracks but audiobooks, podcasts and so on.
  • Analysis of previous user's searches. So if user did not find required track administrators will try to find it for user.
  • Constant up date of links data base.

According to Alexa 50.7% of Tagoo users come from Russia, 12.5% from Ukraine, 5.5% from the United States,4.7% from Kazakhstan and 4.2% from Germany
