Tagoloan is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 46,649 people in 9,269 households.

Tagoloan is in the East of Cagayan de Oro City. It is residential and industrial municipality. It has 3 colleges and 2 hospitals.

Tagoloan's land area is significantly small that is why it has never qualified to be a city.
