From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tae Yun Kim (born February 2, 1946, South Korea) is a prominent businesswoman and martial artist in Silicon Valley, California. Born the first child of her family on the lunar new year in a culture that valued boys more than girls, and training in the martial arts at a time when women were not supposed to, she was ostracized by her family and society. She was married and immigrated to the United States in the late 1960's, where she achieved success in both martial arts and business.
Kim owns the Jung SuWon Martial Art Academy, in Fremont, California. Kim has drawn controversy for her COL program[1].
