I believe this table serves the same purpose as Template:Prettytable, which by now, luckily, has been deprecated. In its place, people are encouraged to use class="wikitable". Why not also deprecate this template? --Fred Bradstadt 22:31, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I completely agree. I don't know why this template is suddenly being used everywhere, especially in music related articles. All style guides show "wikitable" as the correct template, so until the guidelines are discussed and changed, "this is prettier" shouldn't be the sole justification. - eo 18:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
