Tabatha Cicero
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sandra “Tabatha” Cicero is an esoteric author.
She was born in rural Wisconsin. Her areas of interest include drawing, painting, poetry, theatre, dance, and printmaking (lithography, etching, and silk-screen). A lifelong fascination with the creative arts has served to inspire her work in the magical world. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 1982, Tabatha worked as an entertainer, typesetter, editor, commercial artist, and computer graphics illustrator. Tabatha is a member of several Co-Masonic, Martinist, and Rosicrucian organizations. She met her life partner Chic Cicero in the early 1980s and the Golden Dawn system of magic has been her primary spiritual focus ever since. She spent five years working on the paintings for The Golden Dawn Magical Tarot[1] which she began at the encouragement of Israel Regardie. Together, the Ciceros are two of the Chief Adepts of the modern day Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (H.O.G.D.). They have written several books on the Golden Dawn, tarot, magic, Qabalah, and the Western Esoteric Tradition. Tabatha is also the creator of The Babylonian Tarot.[2]
