Subject: Istakhr e Shah, Tabriz. It is not known who first built the pool. But it is known that the 8th son of Abbas Mirza, the heir of Fath-Ali Shah, rebuilt it for preservation purposes. It was he who built the house on the island. But before its finish, he died. The complex was then abandoned until many years later, Tabriz municipality decided to turn the grounds into a public park.
