[edit] Categories
If you are adding someone's name to a category, and you want the names in that category to be in alphabetic order, by last name, you have to do it like this [[Category:Individual lawyers|Altenburg, John D.]]
I see you created the category "Individual lawyers". What does that mean? Lawyers who don't have any partners, or work for a law firm, a government, or some other organization? I question whether this is a useful category. It is too broad.
When you create a category you are supposed to put up a short sentence where you define who fits in it, and who doesn't. So, should lawyers be included in this list only if they never had a partner, or worked, as a lawyer, for a boss? Or can they get included if they are in private practice now?
This is a potential update nightmare and verification nightmare.
BTW, if you want your vote to count for Gerald Guy Brummel, I suggest you go back, and change don't delete to keep. Keep is the conventional way it is written. Counting on the admin to understand you meant keep could be a mistake. -- Geo Swan 16:27, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] AfD nomination of Corporate lawyer
An editor has nominated Corporate lawyer, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Corporate lawyer and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:14, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Searching
Regarding [1], I get context when I log out and search. For example, the first search hit on tower says:
Tower thumb|right|CN Tower (the world's tallest completed freestanding struc... thumb|right|The Sears Tower, in Chicago, Illinois.
Are you saying you only get page names? PrimeHunter (talk) 23:34, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- When I close and restart Internet Explorer, I get no context. If I only log out without closing then I get context. I guess your edit is close enough to stay. PrimeHunter (talk) 05:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Comedy (theater)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Comedy (theater), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Comedy. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:14, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Category Changes
You have been doing a large number of major changes to the categorization of categories at the head of major tress. Such changes should not be made without discussion. Continuing to do so could be considered disruptive editing. Johnbod (talk) 01:27, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

The above was your text. It should be in the Wikipedia: namespace, not the main article namespace. It is probably already there anyway. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 06:18, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Pro-Israel
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Pro-Israel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Nudve (talk) 16:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Police misconduct
Hi, I thought you might like to check out the first segment on CBS 60 Minutes tonight, as it is about a major scandal involving the Chicago PD's "Special Operations Section." (A shame your Wiki email setting isn't enabled... )
Just by chance, I discovered your interest in this subject yesterday, as a result of the work I put into knitting together all of the categories related to police misconduct and abuse, some of which I saw that you had created. Regards, Cgingold (talk) 09:51, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
