T.J. Racer was the original bass player for Nitro. He played on their first album, O.F.R., and was in their first two videos Freight Train and Long Way From Home. He also played bass on Nitro singer Jim Gillette's solo album Proud to be loud, along with Nitro guitarist Michael Angelo Batio. Currently he is a bass teacher.
