The T'Loth-class Cruiser is an older warcruiser built for the Narn Regime in the fictional universe of the Babylon 5 television series. The T'Loth is one of the first Narn warships equipped with jump engines. Like all Narn warships it does not have artificial gravity, and is thus slower and less-maneuverable than large warships from more advanced alien races. The T'Loth's unusual design (two huge wings held together by a narrow command-and-crew section), is in fact a result of the Narn's relatively primitive level of technology at the time of its' construction. When the T'Loth-class was first designed the Narn had just won their independence from the Centauri Republic, and they needed to construct a warship that would at least give the Centauri and other alien races some hesitation about attacking the Narn. The T'Loth proved to be easy and quick to build, and its huge wing sections provided maximum protection for the command-and-crew section. However, while the T'Loth could be effective in surprise hit-and-run attacks on alien bases and colonies, it was no match for similar-sized alien warships in open battles. It was eventually replaced by the newer and more powerful G'Quon-class heavy cruisers. Most of the remaining T'Loth-class cruisers were destroyed in the Narn-Centauri war.
