The Tōyō Rapid 1000 series (東葉高速鉄道1000系電車 Tōyō Kōsoku 1000-kei densha?) was an electric multiple unit formerly operating on the Tōyō Rapid Railway, an extension of Tokyo Metro Tōzai Line. A total of 10 sets in 10-cars were converted in 1995 from former Tōkyō Metro 5000 series sets. The fleet was retired from service in December 2006, replaced by the Tōyō Rapid 2000 series.
The last three sets to be withdrawn were sold to Indonesia, where they now operate on suburban services in the Jakarta area.
