Túrin II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Túrin II was the twenty-third Ruling Steward of Gondor. Túrin was born in T.A 2815 and succeeded his father Thorondir at his death in T.A. 2882.
Ithilien was attacked again by Mordor during his reign, and Gondor withdrew completely from the province. Only a few Rangers remained behind, hidden in the wilderness. It is likely that Henneth Annûn was established at this time. During his rule the island of Cair Andros was fortified as a defence for Anórien.
Túrin was followed by his son Turgon at his death in 2914.
