I agree with the author. If it requires edits for technical reasons then so be it, but it has some use. With the world fueled by technology for better and worse, a specific page that defines the fictional character's original design intent could help the media-saturated public appreciate how technology can go bad. This thing's capabilities were lauded by at least one character in the movie, and it later tried to kill them all. Yes, it's an animated character from a movie, but so is Mickey Mouse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mickey_mouse). New robots from DARPA recently are beginning to remind me of primitive AMEE's, so I came to this page to compare what the fictional robot looked like and any other info on it compared to new (real) prototypes. This movie stuff inspires new invention, lets be sure we're inventing good things.
